Base Salary
$180k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own major features end-to-end, including architecture decisions and production release
- Build reliable and performant systems for intake, medical records, police reports, lien management, and demand workflows
- Develop AI-powered functionality that makes legal complexity usable for law firms
- Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to define product priorities
- Help shape the technical team’s culture, standards, and engineering practices
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building reliable and secure production software
- Full-stack experience across frontend and backend development
- Proficiency in Python and React, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology stacks
- Track record of writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Experience with Django, AWS, or OpenAI APIs is preferred
- Early-stage startup experience establishing engineering standards is preferred
- Familiarity with legal technology, document processing, or data-heavy workflows is preferred
