Responsibilities

  • Define and develop automated test suites for Fidelity’s Emerging Business products.
  • Build, maintain, and improve reusable automation frameworks and artifacts.
  • Write source code, adapt existing components, and test developed components.
  • Create and maintain test plans and test cases from business requirements.
  • Investigate, isolate, and resolve technical issues using automated and manual testing methods.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, application owners, engineering managers, and other SDETs.
  • Validate product quality, release readiness, performance, security, usability, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Six or more years of professional testing or development experience involving UI and API automation.
  • Verifiable experience building and maintaining enterprise automation frameworks with Playwright and/or Cypress.
  • Verifiable experience using TypeScript and/or JavaScript and Cucumber/BDD.
  • Experience testing Angular or Vue user interfaces and RESTful web services.
  • Experience with Git or Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy.
  • Experience in a DevOps environment with CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with code quality and coverage tools such as Sonar is preferred.
  • Experience creating and maintaining test plans and test cases from business requirements.
  • Ability to solve technical issues across the full technology stack and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
