Responsibilities
- Discover and build new 0-to-1 product surfaces based on strategic customer problems.
- Lead opportunity discovery, business diagnosis, hypothesis formation, and customer validation before implementation.
- Partner directly with C-suite customer stakeholders and communicate product decisions, value, and risks clearly.
- Build and ship production software and AI-powered solutions in ambiguous environments.
- Work with Glean’s engineering and product teams to scale successful solutions into repeatable products.
- Use field insights to influence the evolution of Glean’s platform and capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in technical roles with a track record of shipping production software.
- Production AI experience, including prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Strong full-stack programming skills and a deep understanding of enterprise systems.
- Ability to identify customer business problems, develop product hypotheses, and determine practical implementation paths.
- Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with executives, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Strong independent judgment, curiosity, resourcefulness, and ability to work in ambiguous environments.
- Willingness to travel 25–50% of the time.
- Preferred: founder, top-tier technology company, or forward deployed engineering experience.
- Preferred: technical degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: familiarity with LLMs, retrieval systems, and evaluation frameworks.
- Preferred: experience driving technology adoption inside large enterprises.
