Responsibilities
- Finalize Salesforce and integrated-platform requirements with business analysts, platform administrators, and technical teams.
- Write and review technical specifications for complex Apex, Lightning Web Components, automation, integration, and AI-agent components.
- Develop and maintain Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow automation, data models, integrations, and Salesforce architecture.
- Design, build, and govern AI-driven agents and automations using Agentforce and Salesforce AI capabilities.
- Resolve complex technical issues across Salesforce, Gainsight, Monday.com, Oracle Sales Cloud Incentive Comp, and other integrated platforms.
- Apply coding standards, code reviews, release management, packaging, compliance, audit, and responsible AI-assisted development practices.
- Mentor and train entry-level and less-senior software engineers on Salesforce development, optimization, testing, and AI-assisted tooling.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and external SI/ISV partners to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building and supporting enterprise Salesforce implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification; Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certification is strongly preferred.
- Advanced Salesforce development knowledge including Apex, SOQL/SOSL, bulkification, governor-limit-aware design, asynchronous processing, data modeling, security models, and large data volume design.
- Experience with Salesforce Connect, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, external objects, middleware, REST/SOAP APIs, and Salesforce integrations.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, JavaScript, Flow, Flow Orchestrator, Java/J2EE, HTML, XML, SQL, and .NET.
- Hands-on experience with Agentforce, Einstein Copilot, prompt builder, model builder, prompt engineering, AI coding assistants, and evaluation and governance of AI-generated code.
- Knowledge of Salesforce release cycles, Apex design patterns, trigger frameworks, deployment tooling, Apex unit testing, LWC Jest testing, and AI-assisted test generation.
- Experience with regulated, audited, or compliance-driven release environments is preferred.
- Ability to communicate technical designs and AI-assisted development decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
