Responsibilities
- Build agent orchestration, Model Context Protocol connections, model gateways, memory systems, agent harnesses, and agent-quality tests.
- Deploy agents on managed cloud agent services with appropriate identity, permissions, security, and networking controls.
- Implement infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and GitOps for agent releases.
- Design for high-volume operation using autoscaling, queues, caching, rate-limit handling, and model or regional failover.
- Run load and performance tests, identify bottlenecks, and improve platform performance.
- Set up tracing, metrics, monitoring, and cost tracking for agents and tool calls.
- Assess client environments, identify quick wins, and deliver early improvements.
- Lead and coach engineers, review code and designs, and communicate progress and risks to client teams.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with Python.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong experience in one cloud platform and working knowledge of another.
- Strong Python skills, including asynchronous programming, FastAPI, and APIs.
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and Terraform or CDK.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Experience with messaging and caching technologies such as Kafka, SQS, Pub/Sub, or Service Bus.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native monitoring.
- Understanding of access control, secrets management, and private networking.
- Experience leading engineers and working directly with client technical teams.
