Base Salary

$88k - $132k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a framework for model-driven computations on a graph.
  • Build infrastructure APIs for grid computing, data storage, and data access.
  • Develop Python and compiled-language packages and APIs.
  • Perform unit testing and improve the reliability and quality of compute pipelines.
  • Contribute ideas and implementation improvements for the model and data platform.
  • Develop analytical, quantitative, and financial risk-modeling expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and programming languages.
  • Fluency in Python and working knowledge of a compiled language such as C, C++, or Java.
  • Exposure to numerical libraries such as Pandas and NumPy and to data processing.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing Python, C, or C++ packages and APIs.
  • Ability to abstract and conceptualize program behavior from hardware through applications.
  • Experience with web services and the Flask or Django ecosystem is nice to have.
  • Experience with large-scale scientific computing and algorithm development is nice to have.
  • Long-term interest in finance, prior financial experience not required.
  • Open-source contribution experience is nice to have.
