Responsibilities
- Build successful relationships with clients in the assigned territory in collaboration with an Account Executive and Senior Solutions Architect.
- Generate customer excitement through hands-on evaluations, Spark programming, cloud ecosystem integrations, and third-party application integrations.
- Engage customers and the technical community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Advise customers on Big Data Analytics architecture and design.
- Author reference architectures, how-to materials, and demo applications.
- Develop technical and pre-sales skills toward becoming an independently operating Solutions Architect.
Requirements
- Experience working with clients, developing narratives, answering customer questions, aligning agendas with customer interests, and achieving tangible outcomes.
- Ability to independently deliver a technical proposition, identify customer pain points, and explain business value.
- Ability to code in a core programming language such as Python or SQL.
- Knowledge of a core Big Data Analytics domain, including exposure to advanced proofs of concept and understanding of a major public cloud platform.
- Experience with solution architecture and Data Engineering.
