Responsibilities
- Build high-performing, scalable, testable, and high-quality frontend code.
- Plan, design, build, and implement scalable user interface systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to address user needs and iterate on solutions.
- Lead code reviews and documentation and resolve complex bugs.
- Own projects from technical design and implementation through launch and operation.
- Onboard and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with JavaScript, including ES6, HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, AngularJS, or Vue.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of the modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing, and releasing.
- Extensive experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, and Chai.
- Strong familiarity with the JavaScript language and ecosystem.
- Experience building frontend applications at scale and engineering medium-to-large software systems.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience mentoring more junior engineers.
