Responsibilities
- Design and configure hybrid network solutions, including load balancers, firewalls, interconnectivity, and routing.
- Design, build, and operate cloud and on-premise environments using Infrastructure as Code.
- Automate administration of VMware, Linux, and Windows servers and virtual hosts.
- Deploy observability and monitoring tools to measure service levels and improve system performance and availability.
- Respond to and resolve production incidents and contribute feedback to postmortems.
- Research and deploy technologies that improve platform velocity, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with application development and cross-functional teams to enable safe and efficient application delivery.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on platform engineering experience.
- Experience with Terraform, Google Cloud Platform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and the Prometheus stack.
- Preferred scripting experience with Python or PowerShell.
- Preferred experience with Mimir, Splunk, Loki, Grafana, Cloudflare, and general networking.
