Responsibilities
- Define requirements and integration strategies for HR systems, enterprise applications, vendors, carriers, internal systems, and data warehouses.
- Lead software engineering activities for the design, development, testing, and deployment of integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technology issues and coordinate deliverable schedules.
- Perform extract, transform, load, and validation activities for large data sets.
- Design custom reports, workflows, queries, and business-supporting software solutions.
- Define business-system object models and functional and technical requirements.
- Transform and format large data sets using Excel, XML, and XSLT.
- Design, create, and maintain scalable Azure-based data pipelines and centralized data repositories.
- Lead projects and grow the capabilities of junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of software development experience with integration technologies such as EDI, Web Services, APIs, XPath, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, Java, or .NET.
- 5–6+ years of HR, payroll, or financial software application experience.
- 5–6+ years of experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors.
- 2–5+ years of Workday integration experience.
- Experience with middleware such as WebLogic, WebSphere, or WebMethods.
- Expertise with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Core Connectors, EIB, PECI, and Workday Studio.
- Conversion or data-integration project experience.
- Preferred experience with SAP, Kronos, Oracle, Salesforce, SaaS, and on-premise ERP systems.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, Azure, Logic Apps, and SQL Server.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-resolution, communication, collaboration, and project-leadership skills.
- Knowledge of system development lifecycle methodology and ability to manage multiple initiatives in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
