Responsibilities
- Perform customer-focused feature, scale, migration, performance, interoperability, and end-to-end solution validation.
- Analyze customer architectures, network topologies, and technical requirements to develop test strategies and coverage.
- Design, develop, and execute system-level and solution-level test plans and automated and manual test cases.
- Build, configure, and maintain test lab environments representing customer deployments.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and networking devices running Junos/EVO operating systems.
- Develop and maintain test automation using Python, Robot Framework, Perl, or similar technologies.
- Use Ixia and Spirent for network traffic generation and validation.
- Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
- Identify test coverage gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities and drive improvements to testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
- Prepare test reports, technical documentation, status updates, and customer-facing presentations.
- Participate in customer design workshops and technical review meetings.
- Communicate testing status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Leverage AI-driven automation, AI agents, and AI-powered testing tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 12 years of experience in Networking Systems Engineering, System Testing, Solution Validation, or related fields.
- Experience with Service Provider, Cloud, Core, or Edge networking environments and large-scale network deployments.
- Hands-on experience with system-level testing, customer solution validation, test automation, and troubleshooting complex networking environments.
- Experience developing test automation with Python and/or Robot Framework.
- Experience with Ixia and Spirent network traffic generation and testing platforms.
- Customer-facing technical experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with Juniper Junos/EVO platforms is highly desirable.
- Networking certifications such as JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, RSVP, L2VPN/L3VPN, VLAN, QoS, and related networking technologies.
- Ability to analyze customer network architectures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate across teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, customer engagement, and technical documentation skills.
- Familiarity with AI-driven automation, AI agents, and AI-powered testing tools.
