Base Salary
$134k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and improvement of high-quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite.
- Support existing applications and enhance software components deployed in the product suite.
- Analyze and resolve complex software issues, including identifying root causes originating from internal or external customers.
- Document application specifications, designs, features, and operations before production rollout.
- Design and implement solutions that improve system performance and availability.
- Communicate technical and operational issues, recommendations, and risks to engineering and business leadership.
- Ensure technology standards are followed and recommend new standards and practices.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions for integration into the product suite.
- Execute the software development lifecycle and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Mentor and guide other engineers.
- Complete assigned special projects and other duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of industry experience and at least 4 years of healthcare data experience.
- Experience working with large datasets, relational databases, and ETL processes.
- Experience optimizing and tuning SQL and Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Advanced understanding of object-oriented analysis and design.
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Access and VBScript or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of one or more enterprise scheduling tools.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java or Python.
- At least 5 years of experience with Appian and Cloudera Hadoop.
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, and Hive.
- At least 5 years of experience with web services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, quantitative analysis, data interpretation, learning agility, resilience, and integrity.
- Knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices is preferred.
