Responsibilities
- Understand application services and infrastructure mappings to identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate deployments across all environments and manage vendors, escalations, alerts, incident reporting, and service improvements.
- Apply patches, remediate application vulnerabilities, and support performance improvement efforts.
- Create monitoring, preemptive alerting, and analytics dashboards for application health, usage, and trends.
- Analyze logs, support incident reviews, perform problem analysis and root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot software errors as an L3 escalation point.
- Manage deployment pipelines, automate release processes, and maintain virtualization and cloud infrastructure.
- Oversee software through evaluation, deployment, ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and retirement.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Azure and Windows Server and Linux Server operating systems.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting.
- Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL database management.
- Basic knowledge of relevant programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, .NET, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of software systems, development lifecycles, hardware components, networks, integration techniques, testing and quality assurance, and data-driven applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
