Sr Software Engineer - Infrastructure & Platform
Mercado LibreResponsibilities
- Design and build self-service infrastructure platforms that reduce manual operations and ticket-based work.
- Automate operational processes by building new services.
- Contribute to the construction of infrastructure network and connectivity platforms.
- Build observability and reporting tools to provide visibility into area processes.
- Solve high-impact engineering problems involving large-scale big data pipelines and distributed systems.
- Support strategic on-premise infrastructure initiatives.
Requirements
- Solid software development experience with Python, Java, Go, or similar technology stacks.
- Knowledge of software architecture and large-scale system design in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of cloud and on-premise infrastructure management.
- Experience processing data at scale.
- Ability to adapt to changing contexts and priorities, with strong learning capacity.
- Experience with Kubernetes is valued.
- Knowledge of Spark, Dataflow, or similar technologies is valued.
