Responsibilities
- Design and build self-service infrastructure platforms and abstractions that reduce manual operations and ticket dependency.
- Automate operational processes by creating services, observability tools, and reports.
- Develop network and connectivity infrastructure platforms and contribute to strategic on-premise infrastructure initiatives.
- Solve high-impact engineering problems involving large-scale data pipelines, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Apply software engineering best practices and Mercado Libre’s artificial intelligence models where appropriate.
Requirements
- Solid software development experience with Python, Java, Go, or similar technologies.
- Experience with software architecture and large-scale system design in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Experience with large-scale data processing.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Spark, or Dataflow is desirable.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing contexts and priorities.
