
Senior Software Engineer

- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and technical deliverables.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology projects and programs.
- Develop complex, highly integrated web-based applications using full-stack Java and frontend technologies.
- Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges and serve as an escalation point.
- Lead projects, provide guidance to less experienced staff, and collaborate with peers and managers.
- Implement and review nonfunctional requirements related to performance optimization, scalability, and reusability.
- Work with testing, code management, continuous integration, and cloud development practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent is desired.
- Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, cloud platforms, frontend frameworks, databases, and web technologies.
- Experience with React, Angular, JavaScript, SQL, MongoDB, Oracle RDBMS, MySQL, Kafka, Hibernate, and HTML/CSS.
- Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, NPM, and continuous integration techniques is desirable.
- Experience with unit, integration, and automation frameworks and query performance tuning.
- Knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure and experience with micro frontends are valued.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
