Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables within technical domains.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology projects and programs.
- Evaluate and resolve moderately complex technical challenges involving technologies and procedures.
- Lead projects, serve as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
- Develop complex, highly integrated web-based applications using full-stack Java and frontend technologies.
- Implement and review non-functional requirements including performance optimization, scalability, and reusability.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent is desired.
- Hands-on development experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, microservices, private cloud platforms, and Azure is desired.
- Experience with React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and full-stack application development is desired.
- Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, JIRA, MongoDB, SQL, and query performance tuning is desired.
- Experience with CI tools and code management technologies such as GitHub, Jenkins, and NPM is highly desirable.
- Cloud experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure is a plus.
- Experience with unit, integration, and automation frameworks is desired.
- Experience implementing and reviewing performance, scalability, and reusability requirements is desired.
- Good verbal and written communication, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills are required.
