Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and development of scalable, maintainable platform features using AWS best practices.
- Build AI-powered solutions for predictive HR support and automated workflow orchestration.
- Design integrations between multiple HR systems while maintaining data security and compliance.
- Write maintainable, structured, testable code and participate in code reviews, design reviews, and operational reviews.
- Drive technical initiatives, architectural decisions, consensus building, and long-term architecture planning.
- Mentor junior and SDE-II engineers and promote coding standards, design patterns, and engineering excellence.
- Monitor system health, improve reliability, investigate customer issues, and resolve trouble tickets.
- Partner with product managers, software development managers, customers, and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
