Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Joybuy backend systems for high performance, availability, concurrency, security, and scalability.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout project implementation.
- Develop and execute strategies for monitorability, maintainability, grey releases, and rollbacks.
- Research, adopt, and promote new technologies and methodologies.
- Identify integration opportunities between emerging technologies and global system architectures.
- Work onsite in London.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience with Java programming and Spring Boot.
- Strong coding proficiency and commitment to clean, elegant code.
- Interest in open-source projects and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and independent troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills in Chinese and English.
- Preferred: experience at large-scale ecommerce companies or with supply chain, fulfilment, logistics, or marketing systems.
- Preferred: experience with UK and European business.
