Responsibilities
- Coach engineers through 1:1s, pair programming, workshops, office hours, and cohorts on prompting, workflow design, and model or tool selection.
- Capture and propagate AI development best practices through guides, prompt libraries, troubleshooting playbooks, an internal AI knowledge base, and a skills registry.
- Establish and support a network of embedded AI champions.
- Identify AI tooling blockers, aggregate recurring issues, and escalate systemic problems to leadership.
- Build and operate internal AI integrations and reusable tooling with Node.js, TypeScript, and MCP from prototype to production.
- Evaluate AI tools, models, and internal integrations and provide actionable recommendations on the evolving AI tooling landscape.
- Define and track adoption and productivity metrics and build dashboards with quality guardrails.
- Partner with security and compliance on safe-by-design guardrails and with GTM on field needs and adoption patterns.
Requirements
- Senior hands-on engineer with a strong full-stack background and 7+ years shipping in a product-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with working knowledge of relational and document databases.
- Deep hands-on fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and end-to-end AI-assisted development workflows.
- Experience independently taking internal integrations from prototype to production, including design, authentication and authorization, deployment, security review, and CI/CD.
- Experience building third-party API integrations and integrations with agent-tooling protocols such as MCP.
- Working knowledge of LLMs, prompting, RAG, orchestration, agentic flows, and AI/tooling security.
- Strong teaching, facilitation, and technical-writing skills.
- Ability to influence across functions and coordinate with IT, DevOps, security, and GTM.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems autonomously and drive prioritized actions to completion.
- C1 English proficiency for written and verbal technical communication.
- Fluent English and Russian.
- Nice to have familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, edge or serverless compute, internal plugin or package registries, developer experience or advocacy, instructional design, technical workshops, and distributed remote-first organizations.
