Base Salary
$225k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship measurable experiments across onboarding, activation, retention, and notifications.
- Architect and scale distributed systems supporting millions of users with high availability and performance.
- Partner with product managers and data scientists to turn growth hypotheses into technical designs and shippable experiments.
- Mentor and elevate engineers while fostering technical excellence.
- Balance rapid experimentation with production-grade durability where appropriate.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with consumer-facing or growth-focused products.
- Strong backend and/or full-stack development fundamentals, with experience such as Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, or React.
- Experience with experimentation platforms, including feature flagging, A/B testing frameworks, or statistical significance tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to ship iteratively and learn from real user data.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with product managers, designers, and data scientists.
- Experience with notifications, acquisition, or user authentication and authorization at scale is a plus.
- Mobile growth experience across iOS or Android and familiarity with LLM-powered or AI-assisted product experiences are a plus.
- Experience in high-growth or rapidly scaling environments is a plus.
