Responsibilities
- Provide expert frontline troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution for escalated Databricks Data Intelligence platform issues.
- Engage directly with customers to understand technical issues and provide clear, actionable solutions.
- Lead high-priority incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and preventive remediation.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, DevOps, and customer-facing teams to improve the platform.
- Create support documentation, maintain knowledge bases, and develop training materials.
- Monitor platform performance, implement optimizations, and manage platform upgrades and patches.
- Analyze customer feedback and drive improvements to support processes and platform capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in technical support or engineering involving Databricks, cloud data platforms, or big data technologies.
- Deep understanding of Databricks architecture and Apache Spark, with experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience designing and managing data pipelines and distributed-computing systems.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration, log analysis, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, customer-management, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Hadoop, Kafka, or NoSQL databases; automation tools and CI/CD pipelines; and data governance and compliance is preferred.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
