Responsibilities
- Translate approved solution architecture and technical designs into working application and integration components.
- Develop and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Dataverse solutions, including tables, relationships, business rules, forms, workflows, and automation.
- Build Azure-based integrations, REST APIs, middleware components, and integrations with internal and external enterprise systems.
- Develop ETL, data migration, transformation, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and synchronization processes.
- Implement authentication, authorization, identity, and access-control requirements using Microsoft Entra ID and Azure security capabilities.
- Troubleshoot application, API, data, Azure, and integration issues and resolve defects identified during testing.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, solution walkthroughs, integration testing, system testing, deployment, release activities, and production stabilization.
- Monitor post-deployment integration and application issues and provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, QA, infrastructure, security, operations, and application support teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on application development experience, ideally in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure environments.
- Strong hands-on development and configuration experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft Dataverse.
- Strong understanding of Dataverse data modeling, tables/entities, relationships, business rules, and security.
- Experience developing Azure cloud components and integration services, consuming and developing REST APIs, and integrating enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with ETL, data integration, data mapping, transformation, migration, and synchronization.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, authorization, identity management, and access control.
- Experience supporting integration and system testing, deployment, production stabilization, software development lifecycle, source control, and release management practices.
- Ability to interpret solution architecture and technical designs and independently own assigned development deliverables under the direction of a Solution Architect.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include government or public-sector development experience and enterprise Dynamics 365 and Power Platform delivery experience.
- Preferred experience includes Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Power Automate, model-driven Power Apps, C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Dynamics 365 plugins, custom APIs, Azure DevOps, GitHub, OAuth 2.0, managed identities, Microsoft Entra ID application registrations, large-scale data migration, Azure monitoring and logging, and certifications such as PL-400, PL-600, AZ-204, or AZ-305.
