Responsibilities
- Implement ServiceNow projects, enhancements, integrations, fixes, and features in collaboration with business subject matter experts, solution architects, and business analysts.
- Lead the technical domain of ServiceNow release upgrades, including coordinating activities, timelines, and required implementation steps.
- Lead technical discussions, identify design trade-offs and risks, and apply technical judgment to complex application initiatives.
- Design, develop, document, test, and support solutions across new and existing platforms and applications.
- Configure, automate, document, and execute system tests, test cases, and test scripts; identify bugs and resolve moderate to complex defects.
- Log defects, explain product behavior, and provide analysis and best practices to the development team.
- Conduct code reviews and follow code and configuration management best practices.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for ServiceNow modules including IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, IT Operations Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, and Employee Center Pro.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver projects using Agile methodology.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of ServiceNow development and administration experience across IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, IT Operations Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, and Employee Center Pro.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow with Jira Data Center and Cloud, DataDog, SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce.com, Prometheus, and Integration Hub Elements.
- Experience consuming and/or creating APIs and designing, configuring, supporting, testing, and implementing business application enhancements.
- Experience developing test cases, performing multiple levels of testing, and managing defects.
- Experience with system and data integration, with ITOM/CMDB experience considered an asset.
- Experience with C#, Java, PHP, Microsoft .NET Framework, RESTful and SOAP-based web services, and authentication protocols and technologies.
- Experience with HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery, JSON, XML, and CSS web programming.
- Experience with SQL Server and MySQL, including stored procedures, complex queries, query optimization, and database design.
- Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and OpenID authentication technologies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, change management, requirements translation, and solution-planning skills.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy considerations for systems.
