Responsibilities
- Design and build integrations between Cavalry, Canva, and other professional applications in the Canva Pro suite.
- Define shared integration approaches across products such as Cavalry and Affinity.
- Own and evolve authentication, including secure connections between Cavalry, Canva services, and user accounts.
- Build and maintain application-side systems supporting product data and analytics.
- Contribute to Cavalry’s C++ core application across general product features, improvements, and engineering priorities.
- Improve complex systems and write clean, high-quality code.
Requirements
- Deep experience with C++ and systems involving real-time performance and memory management.
- Experience with Java to support integration work.
- Breadth across creative application technologies, such as rendering, text and typography systems, or cross-product integrations.
- Interest in the intersection of technology and artistry and in creating tools that feel good to use.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and shape problems as well as solve them.
- Strong standards for code quality and collaboration.
