Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to all phases of Neo4j implementation projects with customer engineering teams.
- Write code, provide technical advice, train and educate customers, and help prepare production deployments.
- Develop solution architectures addressing customer technical requirements.
- Design and build Neo4j prototypes demonstrating required functionality.
- Drive technical requirements, data modeling, coding, testing, data ingestion, and data visualization activities.
- Prepare solution proposals for customer engineering and management teams.
- Engage with engineers in an advisory role and work independently or collaboratively.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance and full-scope polygraph are required.
- MD/VA/D.C. location and willingness to travel more than 50% of the time are required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Requires 3–5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-class applications.
- Requires extensive database technology and data modeling experience, including complex data analysis, data migrations, and system integration.
- Requires strong object-oriented programming skills and experience with access management and data security.
- Requires experience on complex customer-facing projects and in an Agile environment.
- Requires source control experience with tools such as Perforce, SVN, or Git.
- Must be able to learn new technologies and development languages, advise engineers, and train small groups.
- Preferred qualifications include professional services consulting experience and graph database experience with Neo4j, OrientDB, TitanDB, or similar technologies.
- Preferred experience includes J2EE/Java EE, JavaScript, Docker, Spring, Kubernetes, Java, middleware, design patterns, JUnit, cloud environments, visualization tools, and web application development with React or Angular.
