Responsibilities
- Develop C applications on Linux for trading or real-time environments.
- Implement multithreading, multiprocessing, process synchronization, data structures, and low-latency performance improvements.
- Use shared memory, queues, file handling, and TCP/IP and UDP socket programming for inter-process and network communication.
- Debug Linux applications using GDB and GCC-based development tools.
- Interact directly with clients and communicate effectively in written and oral form.
- Work from the Mumbai customer office every working day.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of C development experience.
- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux, pointers, IPC using shared memory, multithreading, multiprocessing, socket programming, data structures, and process synchronization.
- Working experience with Linux application debugging tools, especially GDB.
- Knowledge of version control and shell script development.
- Exposure to trading or real-time applications is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with client interaction capability.
