Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Ridgeline's production SaaS platform.
- Build automation to increase engineering velocity and reduce operational toil.
- Own and enhance production observability through metrics and alerting.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Define and improve Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Identify capacity constraints and reliability risks proactively.
- Participate in on-call rotation and coordinate incident response.
- Lead blameless postmortems to strengthen platform resilience.
- Collaborate with software engineers on infrastructure design.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
- Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
- At least 2 years supporting mission-critical production SaaS workloads on AWS.
- Experience operating production systems where uptime and reliability are critical.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, ECS, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of observability practices including monitoring and alerting.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with deployment strategies such as blue/green or canary.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Comfortable participating in on-call rotations and leading incident responses.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a passion for solving technical challenges.
- Collaborative mindset with a desire to learn and mentor others.
