Responsibilities

Analyze, design, and implement infrastructure, cloud, virtualized computing, and data-center solutions covering computing, networking, routing, and security.
Define and communicate architectural vision across teams and products and guide successful delivery.
Design Java-based microservices and RESTful and GraphQL APIs using technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Hibernate, and Kubernetes.
Design Databricks data platforms, including Delta Lake, Lakehouse, Medallion architecture, data lineage, governance, data products, and streaming and batch processing.
Provide technical leadership and direction to multiple software development teams working on highly complex projects.
Design and automate secure, reliable, scalable cloud environments and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Establish and optimize automated DevOps release-management and CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications and data pipelines.
Design AWS deployments and support hybrid-cloud architectures based on customer needs, best practices, and architectural patterns.
Implement monitoring solutions and support ongoing production operations.
Coordinate projects of significant size and complexity and communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders.

Around 11–14 years of overall experience and 3–4 years of architecting experience.
Very good experience with Java 8 or higher and extensive software development experience.
Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, application servers, Hibernate, JUnit, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Live Tables, Catalogs, data lineage, data governance, data products, streaming and batch processing, Python, PySpark, Databricks SQL, Apache Spark, and cluster configuration.
Knowledge of reference architectures, data lakes, Lakehouse and Medallion architectures, Power BI, Databricks Asset Bundles, and GitHub-based development tooling.
Experience designing infrastructure and cloud solutions, including computing, networking, routing, security, hybrid-cloud, and virtualized computing environments.
Experience with DevOps release management, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, cloud applications, data pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, and Artifactory.
Knowledge of monitoring solutions such as ELK, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms and relevant cloud certifications is desirable.
Kafka, RabbitMQ integration experience and automotive-domain knowledge are desirable.
Experience with Draw.io or Lucidchart for architecture and technical diagrams is desirable.
