Base Salary
$100k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead application feature development and implement scalable, maintainable, and performant software solutions.
- Design and guide software architecture, API integration, versioning, interoperability, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, testing, quality assurance, monitoring, observability, and resolution of complex application issues.
- Provide global production support and troubleshoot Oracle applications services, Oracle Cloud infrastructure, integrations, and mission-critical services.
- Collaborate with customers, product managers, designers, QA, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into application solutions.
- Coach and mentor less experienced engineers, provide technical leadership, participate in interviews, and contribute to hiring recommendations.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, automation, testing, and reliability improvements.
- Coordinate moderately complex projects, manage timelines and deliverables, and provide technical oversight across multiple initiatives.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of total software development experience, including building scalable solutions and web applications.
- Demonstrated ability to write production-quality code using Java, GoLang, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience delivering products through the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure and mission-critical tier-one live-site operations.
- Experience designing architectures for high availability, scalability, flexibility, and future business demands.
- Preferred experience as a technical lead for large-scale applications and systems.
- Preferred hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, plus SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Preferred knowledge of computer networking, Linux internals, Linux/Unix troubleshooting, host virtualization, KVM, containers, and Docker.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, technical leadership, hiring, mentorship, and continuous-improvement abilities.

- The posting is for a US-based role with a stated hiring range of $99,600 to $209,500 per annum, plus potential bonus and equity.
