Responsibilities

Own low-level design and provide technical direction for the product area in collaboration with architects.
Coordinate cross-team dependencies, integration points, feature definition, estimation, sprint planning, and technical impediment resolution.
Break complex features into actionable tasks and own production readiness, including non-functional requirements.
Ensure code quality through meaningful code reviews and adherence to applicable standards, policies, and delivery criteria.
Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems.
Mentor team members, document design decisions, participate in interviews and hiring decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
Act as the primary technical contact across Product, Architecture, and Platform teams and communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
10+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience with C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or other languages relevant to Azure development.
Experience with Microsoft .NET and Angular, React, or similar frontend frameworks.
Experience working with web services and APIs, SQL or NoSQL databases, and Azure database services.
Proficiency with Azure services including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Storage.
Knowledge of cloud security best practices, clean code development, unit testing, test-driven development, source control, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and Agile development practices.
Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability, with fluency in spoken and written English.
Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Azure IoT Hub, Azure Data Explorer, edge-device development, and event-driven IoT applications is preferred.
Experience contributing to UX designs, using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates, and relevant Azure certifications is preferred.
