Responsibilities
- Lead web performance initiatives across the Legend platform.
- Profile, diagnose, and implement measurable improvements to speed and efficiency.
- Build and optimize real-time UI components for streaming market data.
- Establish performance benchmarks and monitoring systems.
- Drive a performance-first culture through code reviews and documentation.
- Contribute to end-to-end feature development across core trading surfaces.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers.
- Participate in roadmap planning and scope technical work.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in building web applications with a focus on performance.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, including knowledge of engine internals.
- Hands-on experience with browser rendering pipelines and diagnosing performance issues.
- Proven ability to build high-frequency, real-time UI components.
- Fluency with performance tooling and measurement techniques.
