Base Salary
$162k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Experiment with and prototype new features in a remote sandbox development environment.
- Debug workflow orchestration queueing delays and measure performance of remote execution/cache infrastructure.
- Identify root causes of infrastructure-related test flakiness in CI.
- Optimize autoscaling of CI workers to manage bursts in CI workloads.
- Enhance observability and alerting across build systems and merge queues.
- Develop a canarying mechanism for iterative and safe rollout of workflow changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Interest in distributed systems engineering and optimization problems.
- General knowledge of k8s, EC2, Golang, and Docker.
- Metrics-driven approach to decision-making with a focus on quantifiable impact.
Benefits
- Base pay range of $162,000—$190,000 USD.
