Responsibilities

  • Write clean, efficient, documented software and lead small technical initiatives using approved technologies and standard build and release practices.
  • Develop stable, scalable, performant, accessible, testable, and secure software using Node.js, React, TypeScript, GCP, CI/CD, and Harness.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, effort estimation, system design, and project planning.
  • Maintain and support existing applications, troubleshoot defects, monitor live services, and identify and implement fixes.
  • Participate in incident root-cause analysis and improve application security, maintenance, resilience, and operational reliability.
  • Apply DevOps principles, test automation, programming tools, and performance checks to support software delivery and debugging.
  • Mentor early-career engineers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to technical communities and team capability building.
  • Communicate requirements and progress with stakeholders and identify opportunities for automation, reuse, innovation, and technical improvement.
  • Provide hardware, software, and network support as needed and complete technology asset custodianship governance activities.

Requirements

  • 6–12 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proficiency with Node.js, React, TypeScript, GCP, CI/CD, and Harness.
  • Ability to work independently, write reliable software, resolve complex problems, and apply efficient algorithms and logical analysis.
  • Experience with code reviews, debugging, application maintenance, live-service support, monitoring, incident analysis, test automation, and performance checks.
  • Understanding of system design, application-domain technologies, DevOps principles, build and release frameworks, security, resilience, and technical debt reduction.
  • Ability to mentor early-career engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, communicate effectively, and contribute to team and technical communities.
  • Ability to apply traditional and agile practices, prioritize work, escalate impediments, respond to feedback, and stay current with technology trends.
  • Ability to apply basic AI concepts using established tools and procedures in familiar scenarios.
