Responsibilities
- Build and operate software products for Wayve staff and autonomy partners.
- Develop services, APIs, integrations, and user interfaces across the AI Portal platform.
- Work across backend services, web frontends, cloud infrastructure, and partner-facing systems.
- Improve platform reliability, observability, and operability.
- Triage and resolve customer-reported or internally detected production issues.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call and support rotation once established.
- Own solutions end to end from understanding customer needs through design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing operation.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with Java, Python, and TypeScript React.
- Experience building and operating production systems, preferably in a small team.
- Experience building multi-tenant platforms or APIs for external users.
- Experience creating tools and processes that improve team productivity.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS, B2B platforms, or customer-facing production systems.
- Comfort working across infrastructure, backend services, APIs, and frontend development; the role is backend leaning.
- Experience with on-call, incident response, or production support rotations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with stakeholders.
- Product-minded approach focused on user problems and outcomes.
- Experience working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with strong ownership.
- Desirable experience with automotive, mobility, robotics, or autonomy partners.
- Desirable experience with secure data flows, cross-cloud integrations, or partner environments.
