Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable Java applications and services.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to architecture and technical decision-making.
- Develop APIs, microservices, and backend components using modern Java technologies.
- Write maintainable code, optimize application performance, and support system reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing.
- Support production deployment and post-production activities when required.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8, Java 11, Java 17, and core Java concepts.
- Experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Hibernate or JPA and experience with Git.
- Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Preferred experience with microservices architecture, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
