Responsibilities
- Harden research prototypes into production services for real-time safeguards.
- Build data and evaluation infrastructure for rapid iteration and measurement of safeguards.
- Own deployment, monitoring, and reliability of systems shipped by Labs.
- Develop internal tools to help identify and address abuse patterns.
- Collaborate with research engineers to assess prototype readiness for production.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with large datasets.
- Proven track record in designing and operating production backend systems.
- Experience transitioning software from prototype to production, including testing and monitoring.
- Familiarity with large language models and their operations.
- A commitment to reducing real-world harm through AI.
