Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship customer-facing features for activity history, audit logs, event timelines, notifications, historical analytics, and dashboards.
- Partner with Data Platform and Observability engineering teams to build customer insights data collection and processing systems.
- Own well-defined work end-to-end from implementation through testing and rollout.
- Write and maintain critical-path backend and product code used by multiple teams and customer-facing surfaces.
- Help maintain freshness, completeness, and correctness checks for customer-facing visibility systems.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems, product platforms, or customer-facing backend systems in production environments.
- Backend engineering experience in one or more of TypeScript, Go, Python, Java, C++, or similar production languages.
- Comfort working with schemas, queries, and relational and/or non-relational data.
- Ability to write clean, organized, well-tested code and participate constructively in code review.
- Ability to own scoped work, surface blockers early, collaborate effectively, and remain open to feedback.
- Interest in or exposure to stream processing, data pipelines, notification systems, or analytical systems is preferred.
