Base Salary
$200k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship customer-facing products across backend, data, infrastructure, and frontend surfaces.
- Design and operate high-volume data pipelines and services with strong reliability, security, and observability.
- Build and operate AI agents, agent harnesses, and developer tools at very large scale.
- Make architecture decisions, explain tradeoffs, and iterate designs as assumptions evolve.
- Collaborate with founders and customers to translate ambiguous requirements into product decisions and working software.
- Use AI development tools while maintaining engineering judgment and accountability.
Requirements
- 1 to 6 years of relevant professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend engineering skills involving APIs, data models, and distributed systems.
- Proven ownership of a production system from concept through deployment and ongoing operations.
- Experience shipping across product and infrastructure at an early-stage startup.
- Experience building and operating high-volume data pipelines.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, ideally from a rigorous academic background.
- Familiarity with LLMs, agent frameworks, or similar AI-native development tooling is a plus.
- Experience with identity resolution, data enrichment, or matching systems at scale is a plus.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $200,000 to $220,000 USD annually, with equity participation available as part of the total package.
- Full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, California.
