Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to define testing objectives from project requirements.
- Design test plans, strategies, and test cases covering functional, non-functional, and edge cases.
- Refine existing test cases to improve testing efficiency, effectiveness, and maintainability.
- Create test data and test environments needed for test execution.
- Work with automation engineers to identify suitable cases for automation and provide input for scripts.
- Review test plans and cases with stakeholders and provide guidance to QA testers on execution details and expected results.
- Track test execution, defects, and coverage, reporting risks or deviations to stakeholders.
- Participate in defect triage and support defect analysis and timely resolution.
- Clearly document bugs and the steps required to reproduce them.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of prior QA testing experience, preferably gaming QA.
- Experience with bug-tracking systems such as ADO, JIRA, or Bugzilla.
- Experience with Microsoft and Google platforms, including MS Office and Google Docs.
- Passion for games, experience as a gamer, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in English, are a bonus.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills, teamwork, and the ability to meet deadlines are bonuses.
