Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using Next.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Integrate GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client and Apollo Server, along with REST APIs and third-party services.
- Translate Figma and other design files into pixel-perfect, accessible, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces.
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to define, design, and ship features.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, server-side rendering, and static site generation.
- Write clean, maintainable, and documented code; conduct code reviews and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay current with frontend trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of experience as a frontend developer; 5+ years for senior roles.
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Tailwind, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proven experience with React.js and Next.js, including React fundamentals, hooks, context API, and component lifecycle.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Understanding of server-side rendering, static site generation, Next.js routing, middleware, and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows, and code versioning tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience with Jest and React Testing Library is a plus.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Strapi, or Sanity is desirable.
- Familiarity with Commerce, analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Segment, Agile/Scrum environments, deployment strategies, Lighthouse, and Web Vitals is desirable.
