Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend components using TypeScript and Node.js.
- Model and access data efficiently with PostgreSQL and an ORM.
- Build and contribute to serverless or server-based services, including API routes and server components.
- Contribute to distributed systems design for scalable and maintainable core services.
- Integrate payments and billing flows.
- Own features end to end from design through production shipping.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building reliable backend infrastructure.
- Proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js, including asynchronous programming.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM-based data access.
- Experience with Next.js backend services, including API routes or server components.
- Understanding of distributed systems concepts and scalable core-service design.
- Experience integrating payments and billing flows.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and a formal degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in an early-stage startup environment and a strong ownership mindset.
Benefits
- Salary range of €80,000 to €120,000 annually.
