Responsibilities
- Work with the CTO and founding engineering team to build and extend backend product capabilities.
- Contribute to backend services powering Serval’s AI-driven automation workflows.
- Design, implement, and test scalable systems in a production environment.
- Help ship and iterate on core platform features to meet product milestones.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with expected graduation between December 2026 and 2028.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and systems.
- Familiarity with at least one backend programming language, such as Go, Java, Python, or a similar language.
- Clear communication skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Interest in startups, ownership, and building products from the ground up.
- Exposure to backend or cloud technologies is preferred.
- Experience with Go, gRPC, Kubernetes, React, TypeScript, AWS, or Terraform is preferred.
- Previous internship or project experience at a startup or fast-paced team is preferred.
