Responsibilities
- Build MVPs in close collaboration with tax advisors by translating complex advisory workflows into working software.
- Iterate rapidly based on direct feedback from non-technical domain experts.
- Own features end-to-end from requirements gathering and scoping through deployment.
- Bridge advisory teams and the product organization by shaping requirements and driving implementation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a full-stack engineer building and deploying production software.
- Fluent spoken and written German is required.
- Proficiency with NestJS or an equivalent Node.js backend framework such as Express.
- Proficiency with React or an equivalent modern frontend framework.
- Experience with full-stack TypeScript development is preferred.
- Ability to build MVPs and iterate quickly based on user feedback.
- Experience translating complex domain workflows into software requirements and implementations.
- Comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- A code-first mindset and no use of low-code or no-code tools.
- A university degree is required.
- Background in financial services, tax, accounting, or other regulated advisory domains is preferred.
- Familiarity with German business processes or regulatory environments is preferred.
- Experience in a startup or early-stage environment is preferred.
