Base Salary

$175k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and iterate on AI-powered product features for natural-language data transformations, integration configuration suggestions, data quality detection, and automated validation.
  • Implement robust, observable, production-ready LLM pipelines with prompt engineering, context management, and RAG systems tailored to financial-services data schemas.
  • Build evaluation datasets and automated scoring frameworks to continuously improve AI output quality.
  • Optimize AI systems for accuracy, latency, and cost across usage patterns.
  • Implement multi-step, multi-turn agentic workflows using Agno with error handling, retry logic, and human escalation paths.
  • Collaborate with Backend Engineers to integrate AI capabilities into platform APIs and workflow layers.
  • Build service interfaces connecting AI outputs to platform execution, participate in code reviews, and maintain code quality and testability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience and 1+ year focused on GenAI/LLM applications in production.
  • Experience shipping AI features to real users rather than only prototypes or internal demos.
  • Production experience with LLM APIs such as Anthropic Claude and/or OpenAI.
  • Production experience building and shipping RAG systems.
  • Experience with agentic frameworks such as Agno, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or comparable tools.
  • Strong Python proficiency and experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or comparable technologies.
  • Active daily use of AI coding assistants.
  • Preferred: financial-services or data-domain experience, including financial data schemas, transformation logic, or data quality requirements.
  • Preferred: experience with Temporal or workflow orchestration systems.
  • Preferred: experience fine-tuning models or working with open-source LLMs for domain-specific tasks.
  • Preferred: open-source AI contributions, technical writing, and familiarity with ETL/ELT data engineering patterns.
