Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of new features using Python and TypeScript.
- Lead strategic architectural decisions and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Implement best-in-class software development practices to ensure product reliability.
- Identify opportunities to enhance current applications through code refactoring and technology upgrades.
- Collaborate in an agile environment with various stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Leverage modern AI development tools to improve code quality and accelerate delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and standups, sharing knowledge and championing best practices.
- Own meaningful parts of the platform and contribute to the company's growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend or full-stack engineering experience with expertise in Python.
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs in an AWS environment.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases and message bus systems.
- Experience with AI-driven features or tools is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficiency in coding best practices for clean and maintainable code.
- Customer-centric mindset focused on delivering effective solutions.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in debugging and troubleshooting.
