Responsibilities
- Advance a honeycomb-based testing strategy aligned with a microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with software developers to improve testability and automation coverage.
- Develop service-level API and end-to-end automated tests.
- Integrate automated quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Use observability data to identify risk areas and improve test effectiveness.
- Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted testing and development tools.
- Help define engineering best practices for automation, quality, and release confidence.
- Contribute to sprint planning, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a passion for software quality and automation.
- Experience developing automated tests using modern frameworks.
- Familiarity with C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Understanding of API testing principles and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of source control systems such as Git.
- Experience working within Agile development teams.
- Curiosity about AI-assisted software development and automation.
- Experience with Playwright, microservices-based applications, GraphQL, REST APIs, AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, test frameworks, developer productivity tooling, or AI-powered development tools is preferred.
