Responsibilities
- Provide business consultation and application software design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support.
- Translate user needs, objectives, and business requirements into system requirements.
- Design and develop business application systems and provide appropriate solutions to internal and external requirements.
- Lead internal and external challenges and coordinate activities for the responsible business area.
- Manage application system changes, documentation, maintenance, operations, and support with external vendors.
- Prepare and conduct user acceptance testing with users.
- Support end-user adoption and evaluate system operation, data integrity, and contribution to the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another IT-related field, or equivalent knowledge.
- Three to five years of software development experience in any programming language.
- Strong interest in increasing corporate value through ERP and other information systems.
- Experience leading members from other companies or departments and contributing to team results.
- Business knowledge or system-building experience in sales, purchasing, inventory management, or finance is preferred.
- Retail, wholesale, or fashion industry experience or interest is a plus.
- Native-level Japanese and English reading and writing skills with conversational communication ability; business-level English is a plus.
