Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve scalable, secure cloud infrastructure, shared services, and engineering tools.
- Manage cloud environments using AWS, GCP, compute, storage, networking, and serverless services.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Terragrunt.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
- Develop automation and operational tooling using Bash, Python, Groovy, Java, and Ruby.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, log collection, and metrics systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or EFK, New Relic, and SignalFx.
- Apply security, compliance, identity, and access-management practices to applications and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and improve platform performance and scalability.
- Advise, coach, and assist engineering teams as platform and customer requirements evolve.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of technology experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with Python, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience managing build tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Terragrunt.
- Experience operating Linux-based infrastructure.
- Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, and Java.
- Expert technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience operating, deploying, and securing multiple SaaS or B2C products.
- Hands-on experience designing log collection systems such as EFK and metric collection with New Relic, Prometheus/Grafana, or SignalFx.
- Experience designing, creating, and consuming RESTful APIs and microservice architectures on public clouds, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Strong analytical, communication, coding, and learning skills.
