Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services supporting global software solutions.
  • Use cloud platforms, scripting languages, CI/CD tools, and deployment tooling to support software delivery.
  • Analyze complex systems, troubleshoot distributed applications, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Apply cloud security, cost management, and optimization practices.
  • Write and run SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation.
  • Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Participate in standard UK-shift hours and a rotational US shift schedule as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Knowledge of cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and key management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure components such as compute, storage, networking, Key Vault, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and Cosmos DB.
  • Experience with Octopus Deploy or similar deployment and release tooling.
  • Ability to write and run SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Strong systems analysis, distributed-application troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include a related master’s degree, professional cloud certifications, and experience in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
