Base Salary
$167k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered product features end-to-end using React/TypeScript and Node.js/Python.
- Translate AI capabilities into natural interactions for compliance practitioners.
- Partner with AI Engineers to define API contracts and output schemas.
- Advocate for user perspectives in technical decisions and iterate product layers.
- Build user-facing feedback loops to capture AI output quality signals.
- Instrument AI features with product-level observability and conduct end-to-end tests.
- Establish reusable patterns to accelerate future AI feature development.
- Mentor engineers newer to AI product development and participate in design reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping full-stack features.
- 2+ years of experience working on AI-powered product features.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for building responsive UIs.
- Solid skills in Python and Node.js, with experience designing and consuming APIs.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and understanding of prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks and building product surfaces on multi-step workflows.
- Experience implementing streaming response patterns and building UIs for real-time data.
- Strong intuition for user experience and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
