Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software features and solutions with guidance from experienced engineers.
  • Write readable, maintainable, and well-tested code and contribute to product enhancements and new capabilities.
  • Participate in design, implementation, testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, technical discussions, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and other software tests.
  • Investigate defects and technical issues, contribute to root-cause analysis, and help resolve problems.
  • Work with APIs, databases, cloud services, web applications, development tools, and team-specific technology stacks.
  • Contribute to engineering practices, tooling, automation, code quality, and development process improvements.
  • Help ensure software is reliably built, tested, and delivered through development and deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Software Developers, Test Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, and other partners.
  • Learn new technologies and progressively take ownership of development tasks.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Programming experience through coursework, personal projects, internships, hackathons, open-source contributions, or other hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with one or more of C#, Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving concepts.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with debugging, testing, and version control.
  • Interest in web applications, APIs, cloud technologies, data platforms, automation, or AI.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, curiosity, willingness to learn, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an agile development team.
  • Preferred experience includes C#/.NET, Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, JSON, backend services, databases, cloud platforms, automated testing, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Databricks, Apache Spark, AI applications, LLM APIs, or enterprise software development.
